Lost Women of Alaska
There is a lot of things that happen in the United States that we don't know about. This is one of those things unless you are part of that community. This documentary tells a crazy story that is so sad.

There are some good parts, and some bad parts. It is basically an hour-long post credit scene of Daredevil Born Again with extreme violence, yelling, and bad CGI. I'll drop the video of the shot in camera fall onto the AC unit, but with those complaints, it does tell a great story of grief and PTSD
Movies
I will say from a story + film perspective, it is a brilliant idea of how to pull the viewer into the story as if you are in the chair. I think the Rebecca Ferguson and Chris Pratt do a great job. Whether they were actually in the same room or not is questionable.
Movies
giving the secrets away made us feel like we were ahead of the investigation. However, as the movie goes on, you still have the feeling that you are watching a magic show trying to figure out how the next trick is done. It doesn't take away from the movie at all.
Movies
Jude Law, Nicholas Hoult, and Tye Sheridan were the best thing in this show. Jude and Nicholas were outstanding really pushing you to believe they were their characters. The both lead commanding performances. I really enjoyed watching them.
Movies
The action is really good. We get a lot more of the true action with gun fights, and crazy car chases. When you look at the action, you can immediately tell there is no realism to it, but it is just dialed to 11 for entertainment value. Cars are pulling stuff they shouldn't be without issue.
Movies
After watching this, I totally understand why Dakota Fanning was expected to be so good. She is outstanding and probably the most believable person in this movie. Everyone else feels very stiff which makes her performance stand out even more.
Movies
The acting is superb. From Chris, Halle, to Mark, you get outstanding performances that are going to be overlooked, but should not be. I think the downfall from this perspective is Barry Keoghan. Could be the hair, the roles he typically plays, or just the performances he plays, but he just sucks
Movies
The racing is cool. I very much makes me think of Need for Speed Carbon and I loved that game when it came out. I just realized they came out the same year. That is cool. Either way, the movie gives a very 2000s vibe and just makes you want to race which I think is part of what they wanted
Movies
The Skyline is by far the best car in this movie, and I am so sad that it plays such a limited part in this movie. The scene where all the cars push out of the garage is fascinating. Kind of stupid, but fascinating. The acting is still just a push. You can see it getting better, but it isn't great
Movies
in John Wick Chapter 2 or John Wick Chapter 3 we did get good motorcycle combat. Why do I bring those movies up for a movie that was made 20 years prior? Because they guys in that movie were stunt coordinators on other films at that time and people said that the realism wouldn't sell tickets…
Movies
The action was in these pops that never continued and were had a lot of setup. For instance, there is an old station wagon in one of the garages, and they move it to block the garage, then that saves their lives. These intentional setups make sense for the story, but feel absolutely forced.
