Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2

The building of the house, the baby being the center of focus for everyone (Probably my favorite part of Rosalie's story line is her love of the kid. She is always so excited to hang out with Nessie. Also, just like her because she is the most realistic and has the same name as my Grandmother).

Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2

Synopsis

While everyone is enjoying time with the newborn baby, the Volturi are made aware that there is an immortal child, which could expose the vampire world, and decide to attack the Cullen's based on this bad information.

Review

The story structure in this movie is a little jumpy. There is a lot more back and forth between timelines and people as they scourer the world for friends who will help witness to the breath and life and Renesmee (I will not talk about the stupidity of that name… oops). The overall idea is decently told as compared to the book about whom the Volturi are and how powers work, but that is also where it fails. There is a huge plot whole with Rami Malik's character and his powers in the final fight. There are so many times when he could have done 1000 other things to blind or incapacitates the enemy and doesn't until he opens up the grown to the Earth's core. That alone would cause massive issues that lasted. Yes I know the plot twist negates it, but I am not going to talk about the finale.

For the second movie in a row, you did get a lot of scenes where love is the primary focus. The building of the house, the baby being the center of focus for everyone (Probably my favorite part of Rosalie's story line is her love of the kid. She is always so excited to hang out with Nessie. Also, just like her because she is the most realistic and has the same name as my Grandmother).

I talked about how bad the CGI was in [[The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn - Part 1]], and in this movie it continues with the kid until it reaches the real size of the actress. For the final fight, most of it is pretty good. I don't mind the flips and the powers, what I do mind is the flying through the air with obvious wires like superman.

My Rating

90% of this movie is entertaining for one reason or another, but some of the plot holes, Superman flying, and the CGI really get under my skin. There just feels like there is no care for how it finished by the production company. I am going to give this a 7.

Parental Rating

So there is more visual violence, sex, and almost nudity in this than any of the others. There is a pretty long sex scene with no direct nudity, but some "interesting" visuals. The violence, while not graphic with blood, does show beheaded individuals. I think this movie will finally put my parents into the "rejected" verdict.
