Battlefield 6
For a total war game, the air strike, artillery impacts, and just general noise in the background, is so good. There is a weight when those items go off. The weapon noise is pleasant to the ear, but it does feel similar between weapons to the point that some of them feel repeated.
Overly Dramatic Review in One Sentence
A completely forgettable game, that is now fun after the updates that they have done.

Gameplay
The gun fighting is really well done in this game. The ballistics is probably the best I have ever played in any game and can't imagine them getting much better in a video game. The movement is a little weird, such as the running while crouched, but overall it is very fun and makes sense in a tactical sense. The weapon handling is very fun and feels right for the guns at hand.
The multiplayer maps do get old FAST when you have people if you are not a die hard player and people know the spawn kill points. It makes a time supposed to be fun in to a slog that just ruins the game. Sadly enough, I don't think Call of Duty Black Ops 6's Warzone, and its spawn protection works for situations like that and should be implemented in multiplayer type games.
The RedSec games now, in June 2026, is outstanding. It feels like a new game from when I first played it last year. The map is excellent, the weapons are outstanding. The only issue I have with it is that there is no Solo gameplay style. As someone who plays a decent amount by himself, this would be fun. I played the LTM of it when it came out and had a really good time. I know there are Duos, but the number of times my teammates dies and then leaves is unnumberable. The time between games and the lack of individual details during a match is a little lack luster, but you can figure it out.
Graphics and Sound
For a total war game, the air strike, artillery impacts, and just general noise in the background, is so good. There is a weight when those items go off. The weapon noise is pleasant to the ear, but it does feel similar between weapons to the point that some of them feel repeated. If you are curious what I am talking about, go listen to the UMP in this game and the Stryker from Call of Duty Modern Warfare III, I think. The Stryker, like in real life is a polymer weapon, and you can the noise associated with it.
The storyline is the best place to see how beautiful this game is. The way the light chases you as you running around the mission and the destructible environment really presents a different style of game as compared to other FPS.
Story and Characters
I played this to completion last year. I was wondering why I didn't write a report and I found a note that I didn't because the story was over in less than 5 hours. It is short and really has little weight, which is why I don't remember it. If you want a synopsis of the story, here is a link to a video for it.
My Rating
I genuinely thought I had written this review last year. I looked for it and finally found a note that I didn't because there wasn't a lot to write about. I have to give a game at least 10 hours before I feel I have given it a good shake. As of right now, I am now at just shy of 30 hours. With that, I have given this a fair shake and the best part is the free to play part, Red Sec, the battle-royal. I couldn't tell you if I am ready for the next story since I don't even care about this one. I want some weight, some intensity, some cool characters. This is "Worth a Play-through" as a whole, with the Free-to-play Red Sec is a "Get this Game" if you are an FPS person.
Parental Rating
This is all about the death of other humans. Complete warfare with tanks, fire, and bioweapons. There isn't anything in this that I can think my parents would appreciate.
