along with everyone online, I have seen him in presentations and interviews before Congress. He is a weird dude and Jesse Eisenberg does a fantastic job of playing a weird dude. I think most people would agree that him and Andrew Garfield are outstanding in this movie.

My memories of this event are mixed with pre-deployment training. I was in the middle of work ups to deploy to Afghanistan when this was announced, and I barely remember it being talked about. Part of that might have been because I was on shift or asleep when it was announced, but that video.

This was a crazy book full of wild stories from sacrificing a goat, to selling drugs, and becoming friends with the most unlikely people. Scott Payne is pretty good writer and I have no issue with his story telling. Just want more information about certain things

I think one of the best parts of this movie for me is one of the ending scenes where there is a conversation with a couple of the characters. They are talking about how this even happened and the conversation presents the idea that they are all in part responsible.

The pacing is my biggest issues. High highs and super low lows. It is just really hard shifts that take you away from what is going on. I understand what they were trying to do with showing how the lives of these people are, but the transitions feel choppy and hard.

This is a great story. Not for the actions of those involved, but for one simple line: "You are never out of the fight!" That is the prevailing lesson and process in this movie. Press on. It is honestly a good life lesson to hold on to.
