Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre
It is a Guy Ritchie film staring Jason Statham. That is the quickest description for movie people to understand what is going on. This is an airplane movie. You can't go anywhere, it is a little under 2 hours so you can watch this and then a TV show episode and be entertained.
Synopsis

Review
It is a Guy Ritchie film staring Jason Statham. That is the quickest description for movie people to understand what is going on. For those that don't consume a lot of movies, it means that the story is shallow, but there is a lot of action. This isn't the twisting and weaving story of The Gentlemen, but it does have similar action beats. What I mean is high swings of intense action with decent gun fights. There are absolutely some unbelievable things that happen that are just stupid. Look at the gif below and look at the terrible pistol aim (The vehicle isn't even that direction) and trigger finger placement. This is supposed to be an action movie, they could have at least attempted to make it look right. I know this isn't a real movie, but an attempt could be made. At least it is better than The 355.
The story is decent, obvious using current real work situations to make it a bit more believable, but the "hacking" is just so crazy. There is no attempt to bring in any expert to get terminology right.
The acting was decent. No one was good, no one was bad. That statement should be a testament since Hugh Grant is in this and as you know from The Gentlemen, I can't stand him. However, in this movie he plays a greedy rich guy so that make sense to me. Overall though, everyone is fine.
My Rating
This is an airplane movie. You can't go anywhere, it is a little under 2 hours so you can watch this and then a TV show episode and be entertained. With that in mind, you know that entertainment is my primary piece of movies and TV shows. I want to be entertained, and I was with this movie. I chortled at the stupidity and was enjoying the action. This is a 7.
Parental Rating
While I was entertained, the language, while "British" is just overly raunchy, the action is simple, and there is no sex. Even with this "glowing" generality, both my parents are out. The action isn't enough to keep my dad involved, my mom will ask what wholesomeness there is in this movie, causing her to walk out. This isn't for them. Rejected by both.
