Synopsis

A TSA agent is forced to break the rules as a mysterious man is threatening his growing family. However, his attempts to thwart them are not going unnoticed.

Review

This was an entertaining movie full of plot holes. You can quickly see that there are some serious issues with the story regarding the legitimacy of what is happening. For example, the plane not being big enough to have a fight in the cargo hold or enter the cargo hold from the passenger department. However, if you can suspend your disbelief, then it is an entertaining movie.

I think Jason Bateman is the best part of this movie. He does just a great job as a bad guy that I am moving [[Ozark]] up on my list of things to watch just to see that performance. Taron does a decent job, but very much feels like a boy-scout that is lazy. I see that a lot in the world so it makes perfect sense.

The story is good. The idea that the Military Industrial Complex would attempt to kill someone so they could get more funding matches everything I know about contract companies. Especially those that have former special operators with a laxed moral complex.

The biggest issue with this movie is the obvious, "HEY SOMEONE IS ATTACKING ME!" that could have been said 1000x and would have at least made it an issue and more complex. Also, the bad guys being completely tied into the cameras and having the perfect angle is a bit crazy. Plausible, but leans the story into more unbelievable than a Marvel movie.

My Rating

It is entertaining, and we all know that is what matters. It isn't until afterward that you start to question things, most of the time. I think it is a 7. Jason Bateman is the best part and the rest is alright. I enjoyed watching it, but am not rushing to get back to it.

Parental Rating

There is limited language, but a decent amount of graphic violence. While Taron's character is working for his family, it isn't a family movie. There is no sex scenes which my mom would appreciate, but the rest of the movie wouldn't be her choice. Based on the rules, Dad approved and Mom rejected.
