This movie should not have gotten the hatred that it got. It does a great job of adding to the story from the Assassin's Creed games. There is no sense of fear or why other than an ancient myth. It is like the story about a McDonalds and Taco Bell employees fighting each other.

I am going to get ahead and tell you that my review will be a hot take for super fans of the books/games. Him taking off his helmet is NOT THAT BIG A DEAL! Also, Pablo Schreiber does an amazing job of being Master Chief.

If you like the Fallout games, you will love this show. There is a lot of dumb humor that you would get in the game, outright gory weapon violence, and some surprising emotional beats.
