Mission Impossible Rogue Nation
This is the first movie that we get Ilsa Foust. This is such a great balance to Ethan. Better than any of the other women that we have had. The caveat to that is his wife, who was a counter point to him. Brought him peace. Ilsa is Ethan, a spy with dedication and a conscience.

Synopsis
The Syndicate, a group a terrorist that has been making surgical strikes around the world, has pushed Ethan and the IMF to be disavowed by their own government. Now they must figure out what the Syndicate's goal is, and without support.
Review
This movie starts with a bang and really ends with a bang. The first one being literal, second one being a really nice bait and switch for the audience. Honestly, it is really well done. There is weight to an argument that feels like a division of the team.
Again, we have some great action. From the motorcycle chase, which I think might have been sped up for some of the scenes because they were leaning a bit less than they should have for those "Speeds." The swimming scene is still stressful. Remember when you were a kid and would try and hold your breath during a scene? or under a bridge? I think the time they show is real and a 3 minute hold of your breath is impressive. For sure training for his scene in Mission Impossible - The Final Reckoning. However, it still makes you panic a bit for seeing it go on. The rescue makes it so sweet and that breath of relief that you give yourself is so good.

My Rating
A continuation where this good series continues. We get serious action and the story is just building. I just remembered this was the movie where Tom Cruise hangs on to the side of the a plane. That is such an amazing scene. This is what stands out about these movies. The realism in the action. I mean that is why people love the John Wick Series. Well at least I do. I am giving this one an 8. It is the start of a miniseries and it feels good.
Parental Rating
Not a chance my mom would be in. While there is light language, no sex, and a minimal amount of gore, this just isn't her movie. My dad is in. Action, language isn't crazy so there is no real argument from him. So approved by Dad and rejected by Mom.
