Synopsis

Ecstasy is flowing into Miami and the duo is back investigating. They aren't the only ones looking into this, and the ones they are going against have deep pockets.

Review

Much like Bad Boys, this movie plays on the comedy styles of Will and Martin. They are very funny together and just the back and forth is very entertaining. I have said the "Don't hate the player, hate the game" followed by the "Hate the tailor" line so many times in my head it isn't funny.

The story is good. A nice change from the first movie was by adding some additional interpersonal issues that add to the comedy. They never feel like a distraction which is good. Plus the bad guys in this have a nice life of their own. They are a little stereotypical 90s villains, but this is a stereotypical action movie.

Talking about the action, there are some fascinating cinematography in this movie. The scene where our feisty heroes are fighting the blond dread lock guy in the house and the camera just spins around the fight as they trade shots and quips is outstanding. You also have the scene of looking down the barrel and honestly those are just so well done.

My Rating

I enjoy this movie and might like it better than Bad Boys. The whole "Fat Does" is outstandingly stupid and funny that it brings a whole other level to the comedy. The action is good and I am very entertained. I am giving this an 8.

Parental Rating

Oof. This is not their cup of tea. Lots of language, some graphic violence, and some scantily clad women. If the made for TV version of this was on, my dad would watch it, but I am easily going to say rejected by both.
