HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Carter, Sam, and I all want to wish you a happy new year. Last year was great and we learned a lot about how to make a podcast entertaining and we are looking to continue that growth this year.

With that, we wanted to provide some extra content that will be available to all who are subscribed. Which takes me to the first thing that I need to do, welcome everyone from Boyd's Bar. Thank you for coming over and we look forward to growing with you. All the previous reviews that were previously on Boyd's Bar including yesterday's Harry Potter.

Starting now, Epic Screen Time will provide Book, Movie, TV-Show, and Video Game reviews based on what we are enjoying. There will be a relatively short written review (2-6 minutes of read time according to the plugin, with the occasional book being longer, but that is rare) with a link to a YouTube short that will be 60 seconds or less for some of our favorites if you want to just watch that. You can find an example of one of our most popular YouTube Shorts here

With the expansion of content, we have modified our newsletters. There are now, 5 different newsletters available (because the system we use doesn't currently allow for a weekly round up newsletters):

• Book Reviews

• Video Game Reviews

So how do you sign up or unsubscribe from these? The best way is below.

Email Subscription Management

1) Got to https://epicscreentime.com/#/portal/account to sign in.

2) Type in your email that is associated with the newsletters and it will send you a one time email with a link to sign in.

3) Click on the "Sign in to Epic Screen Time Podcast" button

4) Click on the "Manage" button in the "Emails" section

Then just select which newsletters you'd like to recieve.

To find a list of all the things you that were published during the transition, go to the link below. There are at least 64 movies, 15 TV Shows, 4 video games, and 7 books reviews and then 5 Podcasts. As you can see, there was a long list of what was scheduled into 2026 and it was just becoming too cumbersome. There is another 10 or so that waiting for an update or for me to finish the movie series.
