The Town
These two though have some great scenes both together and on their own. They feel like brothers, they fight like brothers, and if I didn't know better, I'd say they grew up together in real life. This shows that while they might not have had banger after banger, they are outstanding actors.

Synopsis
A group of thieves robs a bank and end up taking the manger hostage. However, when checking to see if she knows anything, one of the thieves falls in love while the FBI gets closer to figure it all out.
Review
There are two iconic scenes in this movie that you'll see from time to time in memes. The first, "I need to ask you a favor, and you can't ask me about it" with the response "Whose care are we taking" and the second is when they are changing cars in their masks, see the poster, and the cop just looks away from them. These two scenes are VERY much setting the tone for this movie. A movie about friendship, love, and saving your own life.
Ben Affleck and Jeremy Renner are great in this movie. I am not a Bostonian, but the accents sound really good to me. In fact, Affleck's sound much like it did in Good Will Hunting. These two though have some great scenes both together and on their own. They feel like brothers, they fight like brothers, and if I didn't know better, I'd say they grew up together in real life (They very well might have, I am just talking about the way they interact with each other in the movie). This shows that while they might not have had banger after banger of movies and TV shows, they are outstanding actors. Jon Hamm and Rebecca Hall are also good, but they for sure take a back seat in this movie.
The story makes sense too. I mean how many times in real life and in media do we see or hear, "Just one last time and that will be the end"? How often is it actually true? This story is a great play on that. What the end is, might not be the end you expect, but it is the end.
My Rating
I really enjoyed this movie. I have seen it a couple of times, and it really is entertaining. The action is good, the story is good, and the acting is good. The relationship between Affleck and Renner is outstanding. This is an 9. My only complaint is negligible.
Parental Rating
Oh Lord. There is a smashing amount of language. I mean this is Boston. Well a Boston play. With that, F-bombs are part of the local lexicon just like the military. For that reason alone, my dad will never watch this if he knows that going in. There is no family orientation so that means my mom is out. Making this one of the easier "Rejected" by both.
