Synopsis

Years before the events of The Terminal List, Ben makes a decision that pulls him and his CO away from the teams to the CIA. However, their new mission is shrouded in mystery they did not see coming.

Review

I watched this when it first came out and I felt like it was really slow. However, watching it this time and I was enthralled with it and I am not sure why the huge disparity between the two watches.

This is so full of action, tradecraft, and honestly this dance with doing the right there. There is this constant conversation about "Means justify the end," "Who is the in the right," "How far is too far?" There is a lot more internal struggle within the team from different events that really makes for a series that is just full of stress.

I do think that the story feels a little disjointed. There is a missing storyline beat that there is a mole until it is spelled out. The people coming after them could have been for a thousand reasons for it to happen and then all of a sudden, you have a mole.

My Rating

The cast does a really good job, and I think there is a lot of praise to be given for the combat they do. The action is constant through the show and there isn't really an episode without a gun fight or Ben making a wrong decisions. One of the best things about this show is really the interest it garners for the other characters. I want a Raife story, that dude is a modern day Maximus. I am giving this an 8.

Parental Rating

Lots of language and violence. It is a modern day war story with people who are and have been in a constant fight. There is a couple scenes of torture and multiple explosions. I think my dad would be interested, but wouldn't make it past the first episode. Rejected by both.
