A documentary team is filming a small town paper company to find out what it takes to be a part of it.

Review

This show is beloved and for the first 6 seasons, that makes sense. However, Season 7 and 8 are just a drag with half of season 9 being pointless, the first half obviously.

This show has lots of filler episodes that are either really good or really bad. I can't stand some of them. They are just some dumb episodes, however, I think that some of the filler episodes that were meant to be just one off sitcom type episodes, fans liked them and so they ran with it. This adjustment allowed for some outstanding episodes in the end.

The growth of skill from John Krasinski is outstanding and this is the primary reason to watch this show. Watching these people grow as a cast and as actors/actresses. Plus all the pranks, those are my favorite.

The end of the show, the second half of the 9th season after Jim and Pam go to counseling (one of the dumbest story lines in the series) and you'll see why this entire show is so important to people. The fact that they ignore Robert California and Will Farrell in the show proves that they are completely ignored in the true timeline.

My Rating

I have watched this show a couple times. Getting past Robert California is really hard as he is just a pervert and Will Farrell was stupid. However, the last couple episodes really make me enjoy the show overall. It raised it from a 6 to an 8 just because of how good those episodes are.

Parental Rating

They are not going to watch this. It isn't their thing. There is limited language, some sexual implications, no drugs, no real violence. There isn't a family overall story so that means my mom is out. Based on the rules, my dad approves and my mom rejects.
