We also get the first and maybe the best "Hulk... Smash." Speaking of the Hulk, the scene of him running towards Natasha has been in my brain since it showed up in the trailers. Also, him beating up Thor and Loki is solid as well.

Synopsis

Loki is on a war path to bring his revenge to Earth after the events of [[Thor]], however he has new friends, but has to contend with a new group of heroes.

Review

Now this is honestly where the MCU began. The launching point that pushed the comic book agenda and MCU into everyone's mind.

I acting, the story, and action are really good. Lets start with that story. Loki bring an overwhelming alien force to bare against humans. That is after he spends time playing mind games. The only I have with the mind games portion is that any self-respecting bad guy would not target the fabulous Samuel L. Jackson.

The acting is also really good. I mean Tony being Tony point out the dude playing Galaga, hiding snacks, and throwing shade at people hiding things. He also has the best one-liners In the entire movie. There line from Robin from How I Met Your Mother about "When did you become an expert in thermonuclear astrophysics?" "Last Night" and the "What are you without the suit" from Captain America with the quick "Billionaire, Playboy, philanthropist" is a classic.

Lastly the action. While we all make fun of Hawkeye for his shooting aliens with arrows, he doesn't stop when he is out to get run away from the fight. My Rating

Is this movie perfect? No. However, it is the perfect representation of a comic book movie that matches source material and built for the masses. It is the right blend of stress and weight with comedy and action. Now that we know where it ends, we can see the breadcrumbs they left behind and that makes this the beginning of the MCU that we know and love. This is a 9.

Parental Rating

No sex. Limited language. References made for people from the 40s and 50s which means that old folks understand them. There is also very limited blood, minus Colson's cards. This movie doesn't haven't any family value, but does provide some decent morals that you hope your kids would stand on. My mom wouldn't watch it on her own, but she isn't against it. Approved by both.
