As for the DLC story line, the bug mentioned aside, the Warlords of New York was really well told. I liked the hunting and discovery of the people and their tasks. I liked the fights, the were extremely unique. That is what I was expecting in the main storyline.

This easily has lived in my mind as one of the best games in the series because of the fighting. Conner is aggressive in his attacks and brutal. While it does keep the combo counter kill fight system, you don't care as much. There is a ton of new movement in the attack sequences

Where I think the story feels the most important is the conduit messages from Ezio to Desmond. I think a lot of people, Ubisoft's writing in future being the main reason why, forget that the historical portion was meant to feed the modern day. They worked in tandem, not as opposing forces

Even at medium graphics quality it was incredible. It takes place around Christmas in New York City and there are snow storms that make it hard to see people 10 yards (9.14 m) from you, you have bright sun splashing down the streets and alleys giving so much visual realism.

The parkour was so good. There is a part at the end where you are running through this temple and you have to do things in the right order or you have to go back a section. This and some of the Vatican area are the most fun since you have so many ways of getting around and with a lot of the missions

This is the beginning of the Ezio Trilogy, where you get one of the best protagonist in gaming. He is a little rambunctious at the start, but he turns into a solid character. Even by the end of the game itself, he is a lovable guy. A womanizer for sure, but people like him.

This is where this game stands above most other games. The story is full of a simple premise, but filled with a history that pulls you in. I am one of the few people that think that the modern day is just as important as the historical period in the game and that is fine.

This is where Sucker Punch excels. Their sound design for the weapons, the attacks, the music, the sound of the wind. Outstanding. I want to take a second to talk about the music and the Shamisen. Listening to it and how it is displayed in the game is very well done.

There is a lot of different things you can and cannot do that change the aspect of the game especially the last mission. The fact that choices throughout the game, choices right before that mission, and finally choices you make about who leads each part of the mission make massive changes

There is a huge grind portion of this game for materials. However, the end result, building your base is the best part. The hosts and our friends had a pretty decent base. The issue with the base, taxes. Oh and power. If you don't log in for a couple of days, the power goes out, the shields go down

For turn based games, having that kind of control makes this more action really allows you to feel that you have more control over the game rather than relying on having the "meta" stats build for the character to survive. I mean it might take a long time, but technically you could win most fights
