I know that people are mad about this show because it doesn't match The Samerillion or something along those lines. I haven't read any of the books. I tried once in middle/high school and just got lost in the descriptions. I will give it an attempt in the next decade or so.

Just like the previous movie, I watched the extended version of this movie. I think this one has very scenes that extend and help the movie as compared to the last one, but for the readers I am sure these scenes are very important.

Typically I do not like the initial movie of a know series, but this one was so well done. I mean it should be with 3.5 hours for the original and 4 hours for the extended version. This is a CLASSIC.

I enjoyed this movie. It did take me the longest to get through. It might be a conditioned response from the times of trying to marathon these movies and just crashing at the end of the night, but I never wanted to start the last hour of this movie.
