Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre

It is a Guy Ritchie film staring Jason Statham. That is the quickest description for movie people to understand what is going on. This is an airplane movie. You can't go anywhere, it is a little under 2 hours so you can watch this and then a TV show episode and be entertained.

The Fall Guy

You can see the friendship that Ryan and Emily have. These two being friends outside the movie is blatant, and it makes it so good to watch. The jokes, the chemistry, the silliness, and the witty give and take is just on point. It is everything we want from a love story or buddy comedy.

Crazy Stupid Love

This is one of my wife's favorite movies. Between this and Space Force she really likes Steve Carrell, but she doesn't like The Office. What makes the story even better is the way that it weaves all the stories together and makes for a great ending.

Knives Out

That is something else this movie does really well. Provides an excellent story where there is no real wasted portion of the movie. Every single scene is brought back to show either some clue that we missed watching it or some additional symbolism

Hit Man

This movie was not what I expected. I honestly had no idea what it was about and had no real intention of watching it, but my father-in-law put it on while they were visiting. The story is where I just get angry. There are so many plot holes for a "true story" that it makes no sense.

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare

This movie is way funnier than it should be. Alan Ritchson and Henry Cavill play so well off of each other for this comedic moments, there are times you'd think it was a comedy rather than an action movie. You wouldn't be wrong though, it is a comedy.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine

Brooklyn Nine-Nine

This isn't a crazy good show. It is highly entertaining in the fact that it is easy to jump in and out of the show. There are some reoccurring jokes, but you can pick up on the theme pretty quickly. The jokes are pretty low brow, but they are for sure fun.

The Office

This show is beloved and for the first 6 seasons, that makes sense. However, Season 7 and 8 are just a drag with half of season 9 being pointless, the first half obviously.

Game Changer

Overall, as it is with "Whose Line is it Anyway?" some episodes are mind-numbingly boring. Others are hysterical, fall on the ground laughing. Most of the episodes are ok with some splashes of outrageousness that are either funny or blindsiding.

Young Sheldon

What is really crazy is watching these kids grow into these characters. The entire cast just makes a concerted effort to really play into these characters and knowing that this show is 7 seasons long you really forget how little they were when this started.

Self Reliance

I am not sure what I was thinking I'd get from this movie after watching the trailer, but it is not the movie I got. I am happy for Jake Johnson getting to write this and being in more things, but I don't think he ever plays a different character from the same character as in New Girl.

Last Holiday

So this is a barely better than Hallmark movie. The only real difference is that Queen Latifah doesn't go home to marry the city tree grower.

Glass Onion

The setting is also really cool. I mean who doesn't love seeing what a billionaire with a more money than they know what to do with does with a house. I mean Edward Norton has a Porsche just sitting on his roof, because "There is no where to drive it on the island." Yeah that makes sense.

FUBAR

So it is a funny show. Low brow comedy, but fun to watch. If you liked "Mindy" then this is a great show for you. I am thinking back at this show and I remember being relatively bored. There isn't a lot that isn't predicable and just downright sloppy at times.

The Machine

So this is a polarizing movie because it is stupid, or stupid funny depending on who you are. I meant IMDB gives it a 5.8 and rotten tomatoes a 33% which isn't surprising as critics will hate this movie. On the flip side, the audience score was 88% so like I said... polarizing.

Bullet Train

This is a non-marvel Deadpool without the crude language of Ryan Reynolds. The story is the character that you are working through and the characters are the scene. I know that sounds super pretentious, but the characters have no development and that isn't a bad thing.

How I Met Your Mother

How I Met Your Mother

This show ended a decade ago and while some of the pop culture references are a bit dated, the rest of the show has really held up. The cast is outstanding and after years of working together, it really shows the amount of love and faith they had in each other.

White Lotus

Weird show was lots of twist and turns that start with a mystery and end with the mystery of why you watched the entire season.

The Big Bang Theory

The Big Bang Theory

This is one of my favorite shows that I can watch on repeat as the episodes are individual which for a 30-minute show, that is exactly what you want. You want something that you can jump into and out of.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

This is another Guardians of the Galaxy movie. This isn't a Oscar winning movie for the acting, but was never meant to be. The music has always been good and the story giving some additional insight into those stories and characters that we love.

House

Having watched this show a number of times and it is always an entertaining show to rewatch. Hugh Laurie is amazing in this show consistently and doesn't miss a beat the entire series. The supporting cast is really good until the end of the series where some of the new cast showed up.

You People

This movie was funny. Truly funny. Poking fun at everyone as well as showing the immediate defenses people put up when the possibility of racism occurs.

BlacKKKlansman

I honestly never thought about watching this movie. I knew it came out. I knew it was supposedly good. I knew it was political which is probably why I never watched it. Overly political movies are not really my thing. However, I watched it tonight and I was wrong. It was so good.

The Consultant

This show starts crazy and ends weak. The story is interesting and does a great job pulling you in. It’s just off, though. This show has been labeled a comedy and while there were some funny bits, Scooby-doo has better comedy than this. It isn’t that the jokes didn’t land, it’s that they are there.
