If John Wick and The Accountant had a baby it would be Denzel in this movie. He has such experience that he knows how to kill everyone in the room with minimal effort, but he has gotten older so it takes him a bit more time.

Because of this and us plus over friends in the future playing this game, I want to like it. I really do. I have fond memories playing this game. However, having jumped in with the release of The Final Shape, the story is completely pointless now.

The most frustratingly light story telling for a game that is so f***** difficult, but what they don't tell you is that you are a rubber ducky to the bad guys that bring bats and have a home run contest with you across the map.

First off, what a great cast. I mean it was 1995 and a lot of these people were either in their prime or just starting their careers and I don't remember it being talked about a lot. Some where not as strong as others, but when you are surrounded by heavy hitters, someone isn't going to shine.

What makes the gameplay super annoying is the devs making changes. While I understand there was a time where people would kick people for not using the meta, that doesn't mean to adjust the weapons so harshly in a PvE game.

So it is a funny show. Low brow comedy, but fun to watch. If you liked "Mindy" then this is a great show for you. I am thinking back at this show and I remember being relatively bored. There isn't a lot that isn't predicable and just downright sloppy at times.

Ghost of Tsushima
Beauty and Japanese flutes is just the beginning as you make mince meat of Mongols while disappointing your Uncle. There are some really cool story beats that tear at your heart especially in the Iki island DLC.

This movie did NOT age well. It is hard to see, bad acting, and honestly a mashed together timeline and story that easily makes this Steven Spielberg's worse movie. The lens flares and halo effect that are supposed to push a "futuristic" world makes it impossible to watch at time.

I was attempting to do per episode review of this show and Episode 4 killed me. This show has no damn purpose and I was never able to finish it. I have attempted 3 times since writing this over a year ago and no. Its a 4.

The Machine
So this is a polarizing movie because it is stupid, or stupid funny depending on who you are. I meant IMDB gives it a 5.8 and rotten tomatoes a 33% which isn't surprising as critics will hate this movie. On the flip side, the audience score was 88% so like I said... polarizing.

For the first time, we see the John Wick isn't just Baba Yaga. He has friends and they are there to support him in his quest. I know Winston was his friend, but at the end of the last movie there was some ambiguity to that. I say all this to point out the evolving story telling in this series.

Top Gun Maverick
This is a great movie, it is as simple as that. This was an amazing summer movie that you should have seen in theaters and if not, enjoy it with some surround sound.
