From a documentary prospective, it is done well. Good interviews, archived video, and body cam footage. There is a really weird days of our lives style intro, but that seems to be Netflix's style lately.

Synopsis

A woman in Texas is arrested for the theft of a baby when she was taken to the hospital claiming to just having had the baby in the car. This lead to a story of murder, impersonating, fraud, and deceit.

Review

This story starts crazy and then pushes the pedal down and continues to make you think "What in the world is going on?" every minute. It starts with these friends who basically talk about a crazy Bridesmaid/Bridezilla. She just had a way of making everything about her in attempt to have attention.

I am trying not to give too much away here, but just know that it is really sad story that takes a hard turn without warning. I don't know any of the details outside this documentary, but I am not sure the final events could have been truly stopped without some other major changes prior. The husband looks like a good dude, trying to support his wife, and she was just pulling the wool over his eyes.

My Rating

This story is crazy. In the past I haven't done a review of most of the documentaries that I watch because it is hard to talk about it when talking about the death of the victims. This one though has no alternative to the story and the fact that she is trying to get an appeal is absurd. I feel so bad for the families involved. As a documentary, this is done well. Hands down. This is an 8.

Parental Rating

Not their thing. I don't think my mom has ever actually watched a documentary and this isn't one my dad would care to see. I am going to say rejected by both.

The Night Agent

This is one of the must frustrating shows. Much like The Recruit, it is so wrong, but entertaining at times. I have to talk about a couple of things that just pushed me to the edge. First, there are so many reasons that he wouldn't have been there to begin with.

Alien Earth

The monsters are very cool. I love how creepy they are and different. We've been looking at the Alien for years and haven't really gotten much new information about it, but now we are learning about the social aspect of it. It is a bit more than we used to know and at the same time

The Hunt for Red October

I cannot truly express how impressed I am with the description of the Submarines, their capabilities, the function, and life on the sub. I’ve always been interested in subs and after watching videos like this one from _Smarter Every Day and U-571 it is incredible the technology created for subs.

Now You See Me Now You Don't

This movie was pure fan service. I think it closed the loop of the characters and the story without forcing a new movie. The story also works and bring to light a quasi-legitimate issue about diamond prices being woefully inflated and there is most likely an incredible surplus.
