Freaky Friday
I mean one of my favorite parts is the boy pretending to be the grandfather. Still makes me laugh. What is there to hate on? Family friendly movie with a couple of "Butthead" level insults. Solid things for all members of the family to watch.
Synopsis
When a mother and daughter are fighting, a curse is placed on them to switch bodies. Living the other's life, they work to prepare for a wedding.
Review
This was made in 2003 and is incredibly wholesome. Jamie Lee Curtis is so good in this. It is crazy to watch her start her awesome body switch routine that was perfected in Freakier Friday. I honestly think she might one of the best actresses of all time mainly because of these movies.
The whole story is fine. There is nothing crazy about it other than a teenager falling for a much older woman, but hey, it makes for a great comedy. In fact, that is what most of this movie is. A solid comedy that make you laugh out loud and just be entertained.
Side note, the music is good.
My Rating
As with Freakier Friday, this is just a funny movie. It is heartwarming, sweet, and just a great family film. I cannot say enough good things about a 23 year old movie. I mean one of my favorite parts is the boy pretending to be the grandfather. Still makes me laugh. This is a 9.
Parental Rating
