Kylo Ren Rita (Sampled from Spec's Recipe)

Ingredients

6 oz blackberries
1 oz Triple Sec
1 oz Chambord
2 oz tequila
1 oz lime juice
1/2 oz simple syrup
1 oz cranberry juice (Can be done with ANY red juice)
Black Sugar

Instructions

Rim a margarita glass with the black sugar, using either more simple syrup or a lime wedge to make the rim sticky, then dipping the glass into a saucer of the sugar. Set aside. (If you use a chilled glass, sugar will also stick, however not perfectly)
Pour the cranberry juice and simple syrup into the bottom of a margarita glass.
Blend blackberries, tequila, lime juice, and triple sec in a blender until smooth. Strain to remove seeds.
1. You can add ice to the blend to make it a frozen margarita, however, the Chambord is thick, so the mixture can turn out almost jelly like making it hard to remove seeds, and you might lose some of the frozen factor. Might also be my strainer and technique. I'm not a bartender.
Add ice to glass (if not serving frozen), pour blended items into glass.
Serve immediately
