Captain America Civil War

Another banger from the Russo brothers, and another outstanding Captain America movie. This is my favorite of one. We get a great bad guy, Zemo, who really makes a lot of sense for a dude who lost everything from a city being dropped down. Then you get to meet the Black Panther.

Synopsis

After the events in Avengers Age of Ultron, and a new accident in Lagos, the Avengers are pressured to sign law that would take away their ability to decide who to help. This splits the team that adds to the additional stress of Bucky possibly killed the King of Wakanda.

Review

Now you tie this in to a story about friendship, standing up for what you believe is right, and lastly having the stones to stand tall when your friends say you are wrong. Especially if that friend has a point. I think about this movie from a morals perspective decently often. I think it is pretty close to what we see now, that the plan might make some kind of sense, but the actions to fix it don't.

The acting is so good. The anger and pettiness of Tony in the end fight and the love and support in Steve is crazy good. I think this is where these two really push this movie from a comic book movie to a good good movie. There isn't a bit of the story that doesn't make sense, that doesn't add to what is going on. It is full of people making real choices being pressured by governments to make decisions they don't agree with.

My Rating

This movie is easily the best in the OG infinity war saga. A great story, full of great characters, and convincing bad guys. Someone who doesn't want evil in the world, but wants to point out what is wrong with the current group. This is a 9.

Parental Rating

I actually think my Dad would watch and like this one. Good action, limited language, and real stories. There is no issues with sex, so that is good from Mom's perspective. However, she isn't going to watch comic book movies. Just not her jam. Approved by Dad and rejected by Mom.
