Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning
As this is one of the last movies in the Tom Cruise is Ethan Hunt Mission Impossible world, they did not hold back. There is a great cast of people and they play very well together.

Ep 13 - Fantastic Four > Superman
We all really enjoyed this movie. I, Garrett, think that is is a VERY similar movie to Superman as far as what is going on, but much better presented. A movie I am looking forward to watching again.

I feel like this book took so much time to tell us so little. There is a lot of how the politics were played out in Japan, when the Allies came, and between the US and USSR. The stories at the end are interesting, but doesn't provide the insight I was looking for.

Lone Survivor
This is a great story. Not for the actions of those involved, but for one simple line: "You are never out of the fight!" That is the prevailing lesson and process in this movie. Press on. It is honestly a good life lesson to hold on to.

Thor The Dark World
I do not like what they did the Silveg. First off, he is played by a Skarsgard and deserves to be treated as such. I get why they made it happen, I just think the degree of it is more than any of the others portray and so it just feels extra. Jane is fine, Darcy is fine, Thor and Loki are solid.

As I was writing this, I had a thought. They put a LOT of emphasis on this movie being based on their memories. I feel like that is intended to basically allow A24 to mess with the story a bit, or it is contradictory to the official story. So take that as a food for thought.

The premise of this story is cool. I mean the evolution of a sport is one of the best part of sports. Think old school basketball when it had Pistol Pete and no dunking. It was boring, and it is boring again. I am not a big sports fan, but I do know that the dunk contest have been weak

These are the types of documentaries that I do not like. It is just an expanded story of what happened with the son providing some commentary. No answers, not additional story, nothing that I couldn't read in the news really.

The Jackal
As you can tell from the synopsis, this movie is a complete farce. Not that it was supposed to be anything else, but this just pushes it over the top. The FBI pulling someone from the IRA to help them find an assassin just because he has seen him is just crazy.

The Tylenol Murders
I knew that it was this event that created the foil over the top of the pill bottle, but under the lid. Why do I know that? I have no idea I think my mom talked about it at some time when I was a kid. Probably when she was telling me to get a different pill package because it might be tampered with.

As a Marine, I am aware that since the birth of this nation, we have been fighting against individuals that believe in a faith that hates us just because we are not them. This book does a lot to explain why they feel that way and why it continues to this day, 250 years later.

Mission Impossible Rogue Nation
This is the first movie that we get Ilsa Foust. This is such a great balance to Ethan. Better than any of the other women that we have had. The caveat to that is his wife, who was a counter point to him. Brought him peace. Ilsa is Ethan, a spy with dedication and a conscience.
