The Sandman
I am not sure what I am supposed to say about this show other than this is going to be a hot take. This show, like the audio book, is lackluster at best. It isn't binge worthy, it cohesive, it isn't complete.

Books
This book provides an interesting idea, but honestly fails to deliver what could be an awesome universe. There are consistent moments in the book that should be serious, that are under cut by silly writing and a silly character.
Movies
I honestly never thought about watching this movie. I knew it came out. I knew it was supposedly good. I knew it was political which is probably why I never watched it. Overly political movies are not really my thing. However, I watched it tonight and I was wrong. It was so good.
Books
Neil Patrick Harris is a fantastic story teller. This witty premise for a choose your own story is fantastic change to a normally very direct and forced story presentation. His reading of his own book via Audible is the only way to experience it.
Movies
Take your John Wick style action and add a little bit of comedic relief and you have “Nobody”. Now that I am writing this, and thinking about it, it is basically John Wick with more intentional comedy element. That statement doesn’t take away from what it is.
Books
A sleeper of a book. A read that keeps you entertained with vivid imagery and great science. Paolini does a great job of expanding on true theoretical physics. He does a fantastic job of take what should be an inanimate parasite and giving it life. Pun intended when you read the book.
Movies
Cheesy. Just like it was in the 90s and it is intentionally supposed to be that way and that is ok. If you have played any of the current video games or seen videos of them, you know that there is a fountain of blood and comic gore. This movie is right in line with that.
Books
Dr. Guillen’s fact based presentation of the wins and woes of technology present a clear and direct path to the absolute destruction of our world if we are not careful. We will have to be careful about the way we move forward or every science fiction movie will be right.
Movies
Cherry was Fan-freakin-tastic. Tom Holland was amazing. That is your TLDR. Cherry is the story of a drug addict telling his story of pre-drugs to post-drugs and all that goes with it. From falling in love, to falling in line, to losing friends, to falling from grace.
Books
These books start off the worst book of all time. Full of confusion, inconsistent voice issues, as well as straight up poor story construction makes it very hard to jump into the book. This is all saved by the end where all the bits make sense, that frustratingly makes you look forward to more.
Books
A great continuation of the Witcher series. Expanding on the relationships, settings, and politics. From assassin's, mages, and kings, it will for sure feel like a season of Game of Thrones. This book is worth the read if you have played the games or watched the show.
Movies
What an awful movie. Like I knew it was going to be bad, but there are some decent stars in it, but dear God they have to be broke to do this movie. Overall, the injuries the characters sustain have no lasting effect, apparently a minigun and a .50 Cal machine gun do NO DAMAGE to monsters.
