Review

I don't know how to even start this. This is my LEAST favorite Christopher Nolan film and I don't know why people love it so much. Was that acting good? For sure. Was the movie good? Meh.

The story is fine. I think there is some intentional confusion, but I feel like I missed something that was important as I watched this over a couple of nights. That might be its biggest downfall for me. It just felt like I was seeing the same thing over and over and while I understood why and what it was doing, it dragged by. Especially the beginning of the movie.

The acting is probably my favorite part. I really enjoyed watching this and was curious how they filmed it since there is this overwhelming feeling that they might have filmed it the way it was cut, but I might be missing something. Like I said, it took a couple of days for me to watch this, and I just felt like it dragged by.

My Rating

I want to like this movie. I love Christopher Nolan's films. From The Dark Knight Series, Tenet, and Oppenheimer. However, this was a complete miss for me. I am genuinely looking forward to The Deep Dive review of this movie so I can understand it. This is a 6 for me, but I'll be honest that is probably a blasphemes statement.

Parental Rating

I don't even know. I can't remember anything about it specifically. I know there was some language, I remember a sex scene, there is some violence, and that is about it. I can't say either way, but I am going to say rejected by both.
