Summary

In this episode we talk about Season 1 and Season 2 of the HBO Show, The Last of Us. While the show isn't over, we talk a little about the game, but work to ensure that we do not spoil it as we have two guests on the show. My wife and Carter's Fiancée. We also talk about the Halo TV Show for a bit.

There will be another episode that talks about Season 3 and then the two games and how the story shifted after it is released.

I want to start off by apologizing for the echo. We had to add an extra mic, and it picked up a lot of the surrounding voices for a bit. Ok, most of it. We will work on that in the future.

Drink Recipe Name

Cocktail

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz Indigo Gin (earthy floral)
  • 0.5 oz Japanese Plum Whiskey (deep umami and warmth)
  • 0.5 oz Cointreau (citrus brightness)
  • 0.5 oz Lemon Juice
  • 0.25 oz Honey Syrup (for wildflower notes)
  • 2 dashes bitters
  • Optional: tiny pinch of sea salt
  • Garnish: sprig of thyme or a mushroom-shaped meringue

Instructions:

  1. Shake all ingredients with ice.
  2. Double strain into a coupe or Nick & Nora glass.

Mocktail

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Strawberry Purée Syrup
  • 1 oz Lime Juice
  • 1 oz Orange Juice
  • 2 oz Club Soda or Sparkling Water
  • Dash of grenadine or pomegranate juice (for depth + color contrast)
  • Garnish: dehydrated citrus slice and a sprig of mint or thyme

Instructions

  1. Shake strawberry syrup, lime juice, and orange juice with ice.
  2. Pour into a highball or jar glass over ice.
  3. Top with soda water and a small float of grenadine for a layered sunset look.
  4. Garnish with something green
